A long day of constant ups and downs through woods, medieval bridges and the octopus capital of the Camino.
Practical tips
Constant climbs and descents, especially after Melide. The route crosses the N-547. Stone slabs cross the Catasol stream. Restaurants every few kilometres.
Along the way
Leboreiro and Furelos
Leboreiro has a medieval stone bridge and a traditional granary. Furelos is entered over a fine four-arched bridge.

Melide
Famous for 'pulpo á feira', boiled octopus with paprika and olive oil, served on wooden plates. Here the Camino Primitivo joins the Francés.
