What we collect
The guides can be read without an account and without giving us any personal data. If you sign up for the free Camino planner we use your name and email only to send it and occasional Camino updates; you can unsubscribe at any time. Your cookie choice is saved in your browser so we do not ask again on every visit.
Cookies
Essential: only your own consent choice, stored in your browser. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland we ask for it with Google’s consent message, a certified consent tool (IAB TCF), which lists Google’s advertising partners and lets you accept, reject or choose by purpose.
Advertising (only if you accept): we use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may set cookies or use similar technologies to serve and measure ads, which may be personalised. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer, and manage Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com.
Analytics (only if you accept): we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which guides are useful. Until you accept, it runs in Google’s consent mode: no analytics or advertising cookies are set and Google only receives anonymous, cookieless signals.
Affiliate links
Some links go to Amazon, Booking.com, insurers and similar partners. If you buy or sign up through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask about, correct or delete any personal data we hold, and complain to your data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD). Write to [email protected].
Accuracy
Visa, tax, healthcare and Camino rules change often. The guides are general information, not legal, tax or medical advice. Always check official sources.
