A short steep climb of 120 m in 1 km just before A Fonsagrada. Fountain at Peñafuente. Few services: a tavern at O Acebo and meals at Barbeitos.

Its name means 'holy fountain'. Legend says Saint James turned the water of a spring into milk for a poor widow.
