Padrón

Tradition says the stone boat carrying the body of Saint James arrived here. The 'pedrón', the Roman stone where it was moored, is kept under the altar of the church of Santiago. The town is also famous for its small green peppers ('some are hot and some are not') and for the house of the poet Rosalía de Castro.
